BladderScan® BVI 3000

BladderScan® is a battery operated, portable instrument for bladder volume measurement. The bladder volume is sampled with a 3D volumetric sensor.

The three dimensional scan is achieved by performing 12 planar scans. This non-invasive method uses high frequency sound waves with low energy, that are reflected off the bladder wall. All data is automatically processed and the final volume is presented in a numeric readout in millilitres. From start to finish the measurement takes just seconds. The integrated printer provides a hardcopy of the measurement.

Operating the BladderScan® requires minimal training and no special skills. The unique positioning icon guides the operator to find the optimum sensor position for complete and accurate bladder measurement.

Non invasive Bladder Volume Measurement is the method of choice for those performing catheterizations on a routine basis.
